About Heartmind Retreat

IMG_4089_edited.jpg

Heartmind Retreat is both my home and a personal sanctuary, offering a peaceful escape from the busyness of daily life. Nestled in the hills and forests of a picturesque valley on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll, Scotland, it provides a serene spiritual oasis. The retreat consists of a hermitage, an off-grid guest cabin, a small indoor meditation space, and various outdoor areas for contemplation. It also includes a poly-tunnel, glasshouses, no-dig garden beds for growing organic food, as well as chickens, beehives, and a designated area for the future development of a nature reserve.

Heartmind Retreat is a micro-living project that aims to demonstrate how people can live simply and in ecological harmony with nature. It serves as a model for sustainability and spirituality, offering a vision for the future as we face the challenges of our time. Though it is not open to the public, it remains a place of inspiration that I share through my blog and social media. I also welcome family and sangha friends who support my work to visit, experience these principles in practice, and leave feeling spiritually renewed.
